As successor trustee of my mother's estate, I listed and sold her home in La Mesa through your office, closing in January this year. I want to thank you for the absolutely excellent service!

Mr. Darrell (DJ) Morris has earned my highest commendation, without any reservations. I have bought and sold four homes in my time and his performance has been by far the finest.

I was staying in my mother's home during the entire period of preparing the home for sale, market pricing, listing, offer acceptance, inspections & repairs and final closing. D.J.'s knowledge, experience, and hard work were the key to properly pricing the home in a very poor, declining market and closely supervising and coordinating every step of the process.

I was of course also engaged in sorting, disposing and arranging estate sales of my mother's personal household items. plus final moving of things retained, including furniture.

Property tax issues had to be rectified and resolved.

Since I was working alone during the entire period, DJ's assistance, advice, and efforts on my behalf in all areas were truly extraordinary and essential to successful timing and completion of the home sale closing.

I regret having taken so long to post this letter, as other matters this year has absorbed my attention, but I certainly wanted to acknowledge my appreciation of Mr. Morris and your fine, organization.

When I think about how I started the process of homeownership, it amazes me how impossible I thought it would be and how very easy it turned out to be. Less than a year ago I had resigned myself to the fact that I would never own a home in California, even though it was a dream of mine. One day I thought,? What do I have to lose by going to see a realtor and perhaps see what was available to me´.

I did not have any referrals for a realtor, so I took what I got. Fortunately for me, I got a realtor who proved to be the absolute best one around. DJ Morris walked me through the whole process, step by step from the very beginning.

No matter how many questions I asked, (and I asked many) D.J. always explained them in a way that I could understand. I had access to him at all times. He made himself available to me 24/7 and I always felt very comfortable calling him. He always let me know what was happening every step of the way. I felt as if I were a priority for him. He worked very hard and thank goodness for that because in the end, I got the mortgage payment I was comfortable with and I ended up paying a mere 108.00 closing cost!

At times I would get insecure about the process. There were so many papers to read and sign. It can get pretty scary and intimidating when you don´t understand the process. D.J.´s manner was very reassuring. There were never any surprises and he was always upfront and honest about what to expect.

I never felt any pressure. On the contrary, whenever we went looking at houses, D.J. not only pointed out the positive things with a house, he would also point out things that might be a problem down the road, and encouraged me to keep on looking if I was not completely satisfied. I can see that D.J. gets great personal satisfaction when he finds the right home for a client.

I am so happy with my new home. D.J. is a man of integrity. He has a great work ethic, always professional, with a sense of humor, and a caring personality. I have four young adult children whom I would place, without hesitation in D.J.´s hands when they decide to purchase a home. I will highly recommend D.J. to anyone who is looking to buy a home. The first thing to note about our experience house-hunting in the San Diego area, under the care of D.J., is that it was a pleasure. House-hunting, instead of being a painful, boring, stressful business, was a fun-filled adventure, filled with lively conversation and lots of laughter. D.J. baby-sat us through the entire experience, educating us in the process and entertaining us too.

The second thing we noticed was that D.J. worked far and beyond the call of duty. No distance was too far to drive us to look at a house, and he worked long hours on our behalf. He was a tireless representative and was always available to schedule visits when we needed him.

The third thing to commend D.J. for is that whenever he showed us a house that he thought met our highly specific requirements, the moment we let him know it was not quite what we wanted, he immediately pulled us

out, and never wasted time trying to persuade us when our minds were made up. This also applied when D.J. thought the house was not meeting our needs? He always told us immediately.

 We came to the San Diego area with extremely specific requirements, that effectively immediately disqualified 90% of all the available homes we might have looked at. D.J. took on this challenge with good humor, energy, and tremendous professionalism, and the entire process, from our first meeting with D.J. until the close of escrow on our new home in Fallbrook, took only 12 weeks.

We are considering future acquisitions of property in the San Diego area, and we have no doubt whatsoever who we should ask to represent us in all of our future real estate transactions. We found our dream home in Rainbow because we were lucky enough to find a dream agent. D.J. Morris, as far as we are concerned,

 

will always be our first choice.
